Hey all, this is a quick request for book suggestions. I'm going to try to hit the store this weekend or Monday for some *light* reading for Tibet (and later I guess). So, email me or comment with a book or two you've read recently and highly recommend.

Salt: a World History by Mark Kurlansky
I enjoyed it, and it's something you can't really read on campus in case you freak out the slugs.
Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life by Barbra Kingsolver and family. Her writing always sucks me in (so it's light in that way). This is a very interesting exploration of eating locally.
Get the Shogun books by James Clavell. Page turners for 1600 pages, you won't get bored on the plane. Plus lots of good history of Asia.
